Hello,
Just got to know this portal recently and found quite some information. I found many people filed in 02 or later here. Do you know anybody who filed in 01 and still waiting like me?Please let me know so I can sleep better at night.
My status has not changed since Oct02 when they got my RFE. I have done 3 inquiries and nothing happened. I also contacted senators and they say it's waiting for the name check. My guess is probably it's been there for 2 yrs. I amgoing for FP3 next week. What's next?
 
There were 3 or 4 maybe people here with I-485 ND Nov & Dec 2001, and they all got approved. I believe they were all stuck on Name Check, and once that got cleared, it took them avarage of 4 weeks for the approval.

You're talking about your I-485 Notice Date, correct?
 
Did you try contacting FBI about your name check status? Sometimes that can help push things along.

My I-485 filing date is RD 01/07/2002 ND 01/10/2002. I did my FP in Feb 2002.
I did the same thing (send enquiries & contact senators) and find out my case is under Name Check.

So i contacted FBI and they said my FP was done in Jan.03.

Nothing happened so far. Few days back i filled for 4th EAD. After i filled 4th EAD i recd. letter saying that they still need more time to process my 485.

It will be 3 years on 01/10/2005.

Don't know how much more time they needed.

Yes, it's my 485 receipt date. My receipt doesnot have a priority date, I wonder whether that's the reason my case is so off track.
What is ND you guys are using?

Some have priority date some don't...no big deal..Seems like your case is sleeping on some table...try address change trick may be god(ins) will listen and wake it up...
