Filed 485 wanted to change from annual salaried to Hourly

Hello experts,
my company has given an option of working as a hourly contractor. I have been working with them as a salaried employee all these years, I need to switch to EAD to work hourly even though I have H1 time left. Will this affect my 485 prospects, if any of you has done this please share you thoughts.
