Filed 485 Aug17 still no receipt HELP!!

I'm a dependent filed 485 on Aug 16 reached NSC on 17th. Still no receipt. Cheques also haven't been cashed. Husband filed together has got receipt and also EAD approved according to online status.
Is there anyone in the same situation? Called USCIS several times and once was transferred to I/O but she just said there is no record and need to be patient.
Hope someone can help as to what should be done next.
My Priority date is Aug 2003 EB3.

I took nearly three months to get recipts when we filed in July. I don't think there is much you can do except wait - the various emails we sent and calls we made suggest "they" anticipate it would be several months before they get through the mountain of applications they have waiting to be receipted.

My friend hasn't got any receipts yet(filed Aug 17th). But, he got his and his wife's EADs!
 
Same thing for my wife. Haven't got her EAD receipt. But have received I-485, EAD, AP receipts for myself and only the I-485 and AP receipts for my wife. When I called them up, the USCIS said there is not information in system and there can be a delay of 6-9 months.
 
Thanks for all your replies. I got the 485 receipt number today by talking with an IO on phone. They have mailed it on 9th Nov but I still haven't got it. Hopefully by this week I should get it.
