Hi guys,

I am very confused and worried about this: I filed I-485 with my husband to Nebraska center, then we received FP notices in May. I have been in CA for a temparory job, so my husband sent my FP notice to me and I did my FP in CA. Now the online status of my husband I-485 shows "FP result received and case resumed..." but nothing changed in my online status.

I called FBI, they said they sent FP results to CA center in May. I said my file is in NE center and asked them to send FP results to NE center again. But they said they could not do it, and if I want to send FP results to NE center then I have to do FP again. Then I called USCIS NE center, who said my online status didn't change because of delay on FBI side. I also asked USCIS CA center, who said I didn't need to do FP again.

Do I need to do FP again? --- Thanks in advance for any input.

Please respond mogumogu

Hi,

I have filed my I-485 at NSC and received the FP notice from NSC.We got the FP done and it was never updated on the CIS web site, today I called FBI to find the status they told me that the FP results were sent on the same day to CSC(We live in california). It is similar to your case. Have you done something to notify to NSC or its not required. Please respond.

Thanks,

Don't worry (hopefully)

FBI may say they sent it to CSC, but as far as I understand, NSC,CSC,etc. read the FP results from the same place. So NSC will read your FP results. -- From follow-up calling FBI a couple of times, this is my understanding. Well, my online status has been the same from the beginning -- and from reading many posts, my conclusion is that the online status may keep unchanged for a long long time no matter what actually happened.
Keep waiting. And keep hoping.
