Filed 140$ 485 under EB1 Outstanding researcher, can i change jobs then?

Dear all,

I filed my I-140 and 485 this July and got EAD already under category of Outstanding Researcher. IN this case, can i change job after 485 was filed 6 months? If so, do I need apply a new H-1B visa again? or I can just use the EAD to work?

Your I-140 should be approved before you use AC-21 to change your job
to a similar position and maintain your 485 effective.

You do not need "new" H-1. You just need to transfer your H-1 if it is
a different company.

You can also use EAD.

Is my new company supposed to sponsor my H-1 or EAD then? Wuuld that cause any trouble for my GC aproval?
 
i dont know all the rules exactly. but i think its not a good idea to change jobs, between the process, when you file Employer sponsored immigration.

because petition by the employer says that they need you for a long time and hence you should be granted immigration, when u leave, what will be the argument?, that you are needed to the same extent by the new employer??

I(many of us) will be in a similar situation because of retrogression, hence i will appreciate opinions about this issue.
