Attorney who works for the company who filed my GC made a mistake and send my files to texas instead of vermont.I was so mad. Man if USCIS was not enough now you have to deal with your stupid lawyer's(which you can't even change) mistakes too. He is telling to take it easy. According to him it is not a big issue & my file will be transferred in few days!!!
My questions...
(1) Does transferring file from texas to vermont will have any negative effect on my case? Is it not a big deal and i should not worry about this as my lawyer is suggesting?
(1) How many days will it take to get file transferred from Texas to Vermont? When file went to Texas, notice date for my case was of June 15 th 2004. Now when it goes to Vermont then my notice date will change as well? Or Vermont center will still consider that my file reached on June 15 th only?
(2) Will I get new receipts for my I140, I 485, AP, EAD etc from Vermont center?
