File Transferred to Local office - RD 12/19/01

Today I contacted congressman's office since I did not get any reply from Senator's office. I was told by Congressman's office that my file got transferred to office X back in November 2003. And since I moved to a different state after that ( I did not know even 2 months back when I got reply from Senator's 1st inquiry saying "my receipt date not in processing time frame) and now I am back working with senators office to get my file back to office Y (current resident of state) but the problem is senator's office is upset that I contacted the congressman's office and got the status in 5 minutes and they still haven't got any update from USCIS even 2 weeks after the 2nd inquiry is made. FYI, both senator and congressman belong to same party.

Am I being crushed for contacting congressman and senator's office ?

Congressman's office advised me to talk to the senator's office that is why I talked to them again. Lady at senator's office is upset coz I contacted congressman's office and got status in 5 minutes.

Senator's office sent an email again 2 weeks back but they haven't got any response from USCIS and she asked me to wait another 2 weeks before they get the update from USCIS directly (she needs first hand info) and then proceed from there to get the file transferred to my current local office. Its getting complicated, first it has been difficult to get the correct status on my case and now I got to convince the senators office to work on my case seriously that too after contacting congressman's office.
