I got laid off.I am planning to go back to India
I am in big confusion? I don\'t know what to do
Can I trnsfer my file to India or just give change of address?
Can Buffalo office correspond to Overseeaddress in India
Which one is the best option and please explain the procedure in detail

Yes, you can write them a letter to transfer file to India. The tranfer prcess takes 3-4 months.

No they dont accept address in India if the application is in Buffalo.

Wsh i had read your messages earlier!

They shall accept your indian address for all correspondance except sending actual PR. You can alternatively send them a US based friends address or I will be happy to help you get a mailing address.

The only thing you have to be sure is that you can travel to US for an interview. Transferring to India is not a good idea as they are very slow. Transfer to UK or Paris if you have to. But application delas by 6 months or more as process restarts.
