You should look at the local office processing times at https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/officeProcesstimes.jsp?selectedOffice=64 and this will give you information on when your case will be called for an interview. The current date that is showing up is 01/28/2004 which happens to be very good (some centers have dates going back by more then 2 years)

Hi Dazzling,
Thanks for your response, the URL for the status check, does not show the I140 and EAD status.
So we need to just go for the I485 status. Is there any other form which provides me the details of the St. Albans VT cases.

Thanks

Has your 140 also transferred. I dont think 140s are ever transferred neither are 765s (EADs). Are you sure your 140 and 765 have been transferred as well? In my opinion, only 485 can get transferred and they will call you for an interview. 140 and 765 will still get adjudicated by the Service Center.

Case Transfered

Hi Dazzling,
My I-140/I-485 were filed mistakenly by my lawyer in Nebraska service center with a notice date of Jan 22nd 2004. On Feb 07, 2005 i received a email saying that my cases (140/485) has been transfered to Vermont where they should have been filed in the begining. Vermont is already processing October 04 cases for I-140 which is past due my notice date (Jan 22, 2004) . should i expect them to approve my case ASAP or they have an internal processing dates for transfered cases?

I am in the same situation !!

anz1974,

I am in the same situation as you although I hope you do not have to struggle as much as me to get information on your case. I am providing links to the numerous posts I have started in these forums to give you an idea of what happened to my case and what is going on. My signature explains my case pretty well to.

I am still not sure where my case is or what is going on. The only positive thing is that I have received an FP notice and I am going for FP in a few days. I am hoping the case is back in TSC and that they will approve it. At times I feel this might be to optimistic but lets see.

Lets keep in touch because we can share valuable information with eachother.
