File on 60 days hold - waiting for FP???

Hi,

Just got a call from my local senator's office. They enquired about my case and USCIS got back saying that the file is on hold for 60 days because they have requested a 2nd FP. However, I still haven't received the notice. What does that mean? How do I get the notice? Can I go to local INS office for 2nd FP without the notice?

That means your case is waiting for 2nd fp. The notice probably has been issued, and it takes half month from the issue date to notice sent. Probably you'll receive it soon.

Ok..Thanks...The Senator's office asked me if I have received the notice...I told them no..They are going to call back and check when the notice was mailed.
