Hi,

We have submitted our application/ form to migrate to Canada under skilled workers in November 2005, we have still not received the file number and the receipt. Could you please let us know how do we go further on this issue.

what is the usual time period to receive the file number once it is submitted.

I got my file # in 15 days. See the yogi tracker at www.yogi799.com
You can check if people who applied in Nov. 2005 got their AOR (File #s). I guess you can call Buffalo and ask. maybe other forum memebers will have more info.
I hope you sent your packet thru FedEx or something and you know for sure it reached the distination

Hi Ganapati,

I 'd like to tell you that the office in buf is clogged with overwhelming case load. It's been almost 6 months since I paid my landing fee as the final procedure, and am still waiting.

Tehy might be struggling to manage the application flow. Anyways, keep trying.

I filed in December 2005 and had the AOR within 2 weeks, which happened to span both Christmas and New Year's holidays. I would contact Buffalo to see if they ever received it.
