File I485 for me and my spouse.

Dear Friends,

I have a basic question on how to file I485 for me and my spouse. I myself is planning to file I140 and I485 concurrently on EB2-NIW. I prepared one copy I485 and checked the YES for the question "applying with you?" for my spouse, and all the initial evidence for my spouse. My question is that do I need to prepare a seperate I485 form for my spouse, or just one form for me and include initial evidence for both?

Another I-485 application, complete in all respects, including appropriate fees and documentation is required. Do not forget to attach copy of marriage certificate, and your underlying I-140 approval (in your case, application).

Her Category will be Derivative adjustment: On Form I-485, Part 2. Application type, check box b...My spouse or parent applied for adjustment of status, etc.

The 'applying with you' information is only for BCIS to maintain links among same family applications. Your spouse will also answer the same question, stating that YOU are applying with her.
