I'm a US Citizen, and my new husband is here on an F-1 student visa, and we live in Virginia. I recently filed an I-130 at the Vermont Service Center, and have received a receipt number. However, I just realized that I could have filed the I-130 and I-485 concurrently in Chicago (the instructions say everything has to be mailed to Chicago now). Can I "cancel" the I-130 I filed in Vermont, and just file everything together in Chicago? Would filing concurrently be faster?
