File EB1-OR together with EB2-NIW

My employer has recently filed an EB1-OR for me with CSC.
I am considering filing another EB2-NIW to have a try.
I am not sure if I should file it as *self petition* or
should I ask my employer to file it for me (I think they
will do it if I pay the fee myself). Does it make
any difference? If the employer is filing, should I
stay with it until my GC process is finished?

There is nothing wrong in two EB petitions. You have to decide why you need to pay for the additional EB2
