Hi,

A friend of mine (dad-doctor, mom-housewife, 2 sis both married and settled in India) was rejected for F1 visa on his first attempt and the reason given was 'potential immigrant'. Only questions asked were the names of the family members in India. He does not have any family in US. He had lot of property, liquid assests, etc to establish a strong financial and family ties. But the counslor rejected without even looking at any of the papers except for IT returns and passport.

Now, he is not sure wot to do next. Will going again for the second time, help him? I read that second time, chances are always thin. Any suggestions? What can he say in the next interview for being rejected the first time? Does he need any additional papers like a job offer letter after MS studies from an Indian company? If so, wot should he say in the offer letter?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks
