Few days beck I saw a Posting saying "Can you believe this?"

Here i have some more of those.
And I know that too this is really early for scanning cases of oct-nov 2002, but anyway, I did. Here is what I found.
Oct first week atleast one approval and couple of RFE's.
Nov first week atleast three approval and 7 RFE's.
Nov 15th 1 approval.
When I say atleast, it's because I am not completely done with Oct first week yet, and about to be done with Nov first week.

If somebody else is doing '03 BCIS year or would like to help out here and prepare bigger data, you are welcome.

Found 5 more

Found 5 more approvals/card ordered on nov 8th.

LIN0302952674
LIN0302952720
LIN0302952765
LIN0302952922
LIN0302952937

To my understanding, as we all know a dependent who filed 6 or 9 months later than the primary applicant can be aproved along with the primary applicant. Since the Online status does not say whether the applicant is primary or a dependent, it is very difficult to ascertain any meaning to collected info form scanning the results online.
I will keep a watch on others opinion / comments too.....

I am amazed that you have even decided to scan for those NDs. I guess we are a tenacious lot here:p

It can be any number of things:

1. age-out cases
2. religious workers
3. asylum seekers
4. promoters of US national security/interests (not to be confused with NIW cases)
5. applicants from sweden
6. applicants from UK
7. diversity lottery
8. etc.
9. etc.

So why waste bandwidth? just keep an eye on rupnet and you will know when it is your turn;)

Why applicants from Sweden and UK gets this special privilege?

Hi

I aggre with peace_of_mind. It might be some dependents applications who filed after 6 months or so etc.

"Que Sera Sera" means "Whatever will be, will be" ... it is from a great movie.. Cary Grant and Kelly XXXXX (I am not sure of the name)

Update...

it was singer/actress Doris Day who sang the song in the Hitchcock film "The Man Who Knew Too Much" co-starring James Stewart. I believe it won an Academy Award for Best Song that year.

(Cary Grant and kelly... what was I thinking :) )

"Why applicants from Sweden and UK gets this special privilege?"

Edison, as you may have noted from the tone of my post, I am being somewhat facetious. Having said that, I believe I am not entirely without reason in highlighting Sweden and Britain as there is atleast one approval of a Swedish applicant (probably two) in rupnet that had an ND of Feb. 02, which seems to have been approved by NSC a few months ago (like in Jan. '03). I also personally know a guy from the UK whose I-485 (ND in Nov. '01) was approved in Oct. '02.

Not quite QED, but enough to form a null hypothesis?!

"(Cary Grant and kelly... what was I thinking)"

Sairam1, You were probably thinking 'To Catch a Thief' by Hitchcock as well that had Cary Grant and Grace Kelly?

Sankirtyayan

yes... that was it.. "To catch a thief" ... Grant is a cat burglar in the movie... thanks for jogging my memory .... those 2 movies surely are on my list of unforgettables... (if I remember right :) )
