A friend of mine, who is a permanent green card holder, just informed me that he got a conviction for felony, which is considered a category 2 offence under the INS, crime of moral turpitude. His concern is what the consequence of that offence is to his immigration status, especially if he travels out of the country.
Does anyone know what the consequences are for such crime? Can he still apply for citizenship?
