My husband about 10 years ago was accused of transporting and abetting illegeal aliens. He was appointed a counslor from the INS. That person told him that he was better off saying that he was guilty so he wouldn\'t be jail too long. So my husband took the blame for everything. He was charged with a felony and now was denied permanent status. At the time he was only 19 years old. But what the sad part about this is that my brother in law was also arrested that same day right along with him and the immigration did not take his permit away. I have 3 children, he is the father of all 3 of them. I wish and hope that some day the laws will change.
