fees at the time of interview also

I am a EB3 category, Mumbai CP case and am staying in Mumbai.
My wife will be accompanying me
The sequence is as followed:
1)I140E got approved
2)Visa Fee letters(VSL henceforth) received by lawyer
3)VSL sent to my employer (so that he pays!!! )
4)employer sends the checks
5)lawyer sends it to NVC
6)NVC sends packet 3
7)I receive packet 3 which I will be sending it to NVC.

Question 1: Is the step 4 the 335$ fees per person (which in my case would 650$)?

Question 2: or the amount of 335$ per person will have to be paid at the time of interview?

Question 3) if the answer to Question 2 is yes than what is the "check" which my NVC has already received from my employer?

Note A)My packet 3 clearly states "...We have received all the necessary Immigrant Visa and
applicable Affidavit of Support fees for this case...

Can anybody please through some light on note A, Questions 1, 2 and 3.

Answer: $335 x 2 = $670 (not $650). Assuming there are only 2 of you attending then it should be $670!

Answer: If you have gone thru NVC (regular CP) then your company has paid coz without payment NVC does not issue P3. So no need to pay at the consulate since your payment is made by your sponsoring employer (nice company where many companies are shifting such expenses on the candidates).

Answer: Above answer is no so this question is nor relevant.

Note A)My packet 3 clearly states "...We have received all the necessary Immigrant Visa and applicable Affidavit of Support fees for this case...

Answer: This means they have that nvc has received yoru fees ($670) and is waiting for your Packet 3 (DS230 for each applicant)
