Federal Projects qualify for NIW?

I am a Master’s degree holder in transportation engineering, with one year of experience. I have been working on 9-10 federal projects in a local government right now, under H1 visa. I wish to apply for my green card. I have heard that federal projects qualify for NIW in GC processing. Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks, all help is appreciated.

Projects themselves do not "qualify" or "not qualify". Your evidence should consist not so much of proof of importance of your project as of proof of your critical contribution to the project, national in scope.
