My next block friend & his wife both got their approval notice (which I saw yesterday).

His RD : Feb 5, 2002
ND : Feb 19, 2002
EAC-02-113-53XXX
FP : Sometime in June, 2002.
EB2-VA
NO RFE
AD : March 11, 2003.

They haven't touched jan, with tons of Oct/Nov and most of dec still waiting. Do I smell something Fishy.;)
By the way my RD is feb 19, so atleast the details look legit except for the AD.:D

Lets not forget Magesk KK contacts in the BCIS

Come On people...how can one possibly doubt the great Magesh KK who has contacts everywhere and the inside scoop straight from the deepest depths of BCIS.:rolleyes:
 
I totally agree

magesh_kk has a vast network. He has a quite few of neighbors and friends which are in the process of 485. Plus he has contacts in BCIS now.
magesh_kk, can you tell us when March RD will be start?:D :rolleyes:

i ran the script

from EAC-02-113-53000 to 53244.

First thing there are only 12 to 15 cases of 485 in the 244.
and here's any action on them

EAC0211353104 Transferred 3/7/2003
EAC0211353231 Transferred 8/5/2002
EAC0211353249 Transferred 8/5/2002


Interesting that someone got transferred this month, which means they are working on these cases. Can some one run the script on the rest and post approvals, if any?
 
The recent action on Feb may be the so-called follow-to-join cases. For example, the Principal petitioner may file on a much earlier date, eg. Oct,2001 and then got married on Dec, 2002 while the 485 is pending and filed his/her spouse's I-485 on Feb. When BCIS approves/processes the primary petitioner's case, which filed in October, 2001, it will take actions also on the spouse's case at that time, though filed much later.
 
that's not true

My friend filed in dec 2001 and he got approved a couple of months ago while his wife's case(follow to join) is still pending.
 
Early Approvals Could be FTJ 485 Adjustments

Folks,

I know of atleast one instance where a FTJ 485 with RD in last week of Mar'02 got approved.

Primary applicant got his approval in July'02. He had got married in later stages of his 485 and applied for his spouse's 485 in late Mar'02. Got the approval notice early Mar'03.

I guess the INS never got enough time to link in his spouse's application with his before his approval and this might have ended up in a separate expedited track as the secondary is a beneficiary..
