PD 08/99, RD 02/01/01, ND 02/12/01 EAC 01-101-5XXXX, got approved yesterday Jan. 16th, 2002. We called INS last week to inqury about why the case took extra long time and found out that our I140 was sent offsite. Don\'t know exactly what it means. They said last week that it might take more than a month to get the file back. (Note: Our I140 was for AOS not for CP) And this week we got aproved. I strongly suggest people whose case takes longer than normal proccessing time call INS to find out the reason for delaying the cases. You have to bug them and fight for yourself.

Yes

The answer to your question is Yes. At that time, our PD is not current and we were not able to apply I485 after I140 approval. But I think this is the case of a lot of people from India and China. Some people wait much longer to file I485.
