Ok folks, I am over in the USA at the moment on vacation. When is the best time to call Kentucky to find out my interview date as I will have to book my medical while I am over here for when I get back to Australia, as I don't get back until February.

My number is also current in March 08. Does it mean I will be schedulef for interview in March or can be after March?. Appreciate any advice.
 
Congrats to all who´s number became current! Hopefully EU numbers will continue this fast, if you compare cutoffnumbers of this year to the cutoffnumbers in March 2004, my number will become current around July...

Anybody who has some positive thoughts? Would there be any chance EU numbers will get current earlier you think?

Hi friends from the forum!
My CN becomes current in Feb in theory so I should be getting the second letter during January, right? well, the mail coming from the US has been getting here with an important delay (for example holidays mail sent around December 15th from the US arrived here just 2 days ago) so I am concerned about my second letter, because even though I have most of the documents for the interview ready I still need to gather a few more things, I have to travel for personal reasons at the beginning of Feb plus I do not live in Buenos Aires where the interview will be taking place. So my questions are: Should I contact the KCC to ask for my interview date wich will be in Feb even if I haven't received the second letter yet? To get in touch with them will not harm my status since they don't like to be bothered? If I should contact them, is it best to call them or e-mail them? Thank you very much[ and congratulations for the people whose numbers just became current!/B]

Lorelei! That’s great news, I am over in the US at the moment myself. It has definitely renewed my longing to get my GC! Best of luck with the last bit of the process, the hard parts are done now.

I reckon its looking good for those of us in the 25k+ club, If the numbers keep up like this I reckon we could be most definitely be current in July. We will know the provisional numbers for July on or about the 10th of may, which is only four more bulletins away. Its getting close, but its not over yet! Its been a long nine months since my NL arrived. But not too much longer now hopefully.

I'm giddy now!!!!

So best thing is wait two weeks and then call KCC?
Is there a thread which shows what to bring to the interview? I know you need birth cert, high school diploma (or equivalent), bank statements, letter from the police in each country you've lived six months or more, the form the KCC send in second interview.
What else is there?
 
You don't have to wait two weeks... and: you can also send them an email, they will answer you once they have an appointment scheduled for you. The documents that you need are listed in the first package, but you could also check out this thread: http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=215048
Besides the documents that you listed, you need the medical documents that you receive from the doctor and you might need (if applicable) military records, marriage certificate and divorce papers.

just like the others i'm so excited, we're current for march. As we were not expecting , we are so anxious right now. and we are getting nervous about what to do,

I don't have much idea about what to do now, i figured that i should call the KCC after few days to know when is our interview scheduled, but other than that, i read that we have to collect and make our files, certificates and forms ready, right? for the interview to bring with us.

I heard that those forms that we have to fill out for the interview will be sent inside the 2nd package, is that true? like the medical form, and affidavit support form

but i'm afraid that if our 2nd letter got to us late, how are we gonna handle the problem? i have no idea,
also somebody told us that KCC will provide information about at which hospital we have to get our medicals done, is that true, i'm really confused and nervous about what to do, i hope you guys will help me out

Got an email back from the KCC - my interview is the 11th of March and my birthday is the day after - I am either going to get the most AMAZING birthday present ever, or it is going to be a sad day!

WOOHOOO IT IS FINALLY HERE!!
