I applied for I140 on Feb-14 2003. No news yet :eek:

I was owndering if there are other people in the same boat

I think they are all working on the I-485 backlog. Check the number of approvals over there.

Looks like they took all the officers away to process the I-485 backlog... Then they will have a I-140 backlog instead... It's not moving anywhere since early December.

Its still a good idea that the officers are tasked to clear 485s.

Though 140 is approved we still need to wait for 485, so the queue is cleared somewhere and thats good.
 
My application is still pending even though it has more than 18 months.

Just called the 2nd time to the national customer services since ny petitioner (the university) suggested me to wait for 18 months for the 2nd. First inquiry after 13 months had no response at all.
Do we need to send medical examination (I-693) along with I-485 ?

HOOO bad news for people filed for consular processing

I filed for I140 consular processing .IT is in aug 03 thinking that it will clear fast.Bad news.Don't know how long I have to wait
 
Filed on Dec 16 2002, Still pending...

We have filed 2 enquires so far and no solid reasons given as to why it is not approved yet. My attorney has informed me that she has engaged an "Internal AILA contact" on this issue. This was done over a month ago and did not get us any further... Not sure whats going on...
