Feb 2002 case status change

Hi,

Any of you guys tried the new USCIS "My Portfolio" feature? Mine is Feb 2002 case wa021205xxxx which I registered today to get email notification. After I registered it showed me that my case is last updated on 04-07-2004 but the online status message remained the same old "Recieved finger print report on sept 2002...". There is small footnote at the bottom that if status is not changed but date is updated that means there is some internal USCIS status change.
Does this mean they cleaned the dust piling on my case????

Not to be a party pooper, but I would wait a bit before celebrating. INS works in mysterious ways and it is best to see things in front of you before reaching any conclusions.

If there was any serious movement in your case, RFE/Approval, on the 7th of April, you will receive documentation on it shortly.

On a side note: I can bet you a lot of people on the forum will be registering their portfolios after reading your post! :)

Saw the same thing after registering my portfolio (pretty useful functionality I reckon): still displaying the old message referring to "FP received in June 2002" with status changed on 04/07/04.
Might just be an update of some administrative data field contained in our record.

Seen same kind of message in portifolio, but case status remained unchanged! It is hard to imagine what kind of update it is. Let us hope some day and some time we will see bright light.
