Feb 2000 Still Waiting Spoke To Iio Today, Pd Jan 99, Problem With I40

I want your help/opinions regarding my case.

We applied for I485 on FEB2000, as of now no news, no company name change. Category is EB2, PD IS JAN1999.

Today my wife spoke to IIO and learnt that initially we applied for immigrant VISA from home country, now we have applied for AOS they are waiting to get back I140.

Dont know what this means as we newer started GC with another company nor we have opted for CP.

This is the 3rd time we are talking to IIO, earlier was newer told of this, today we got this information.

Anybody in same boat?

Looks like ur I140 was approved for CP and even though u went for AOS, ur file has been sent to home country. Now they are waiting for this to come back to INS. I\'d suggest you to check with ur lawyer. S/he might have some informations.
 
WE NEWER OPTED FOR CP

We newer opted for CP, why would it get approved for CP and go to home country. It is very unfortunate that company lawyer will newer bother for these things, they just file thats all, looks like we are in deep trouble.
