Feb 02 EB2 case approved - Does EB category matter ??

Just wanted to double confirm if EB category does matter in the I-485 stage.
My RD is May 03, 2002.
A Feb 02 case for EB2 category got approved today.

Does that mean the EB category matters in this stage ?

Would really appreciate if someone could clarify cos I was thinking of Feb-Mar 03 timeframe for my case to be picked up.

I dont think category matters in the 485 stage.

The case that got approved was because his case got transferred to the Baltimore local office.
this does not happen to everyone

If your case has got transferred to a local INS office, then you might hear from INS sooner, otherwise you gotta just wait till INS picks up cases chronologically by receipt dates.
