Lewslaw’s site has been very conservative for as long as I've known it. Usually it doesn't get updated until weeks after Fragomen's and other tracking sites. Knowing this I’d say it’s a safe bet that the current INS 485 JIT is 11/19/01.

Cheers :)

My views on JIT

I think INS released 11/19/01 by mistake on oct 29th with an actual date of oct 15 on it. In 2 weeks, with them doing NOTHING, JIT could not have jumped by 1 month 3 weeks. That's impossible. On the contrary, if the JIT is really 10/19/01 (Released Nov 5th), that makes perfect sense, since

a) They are approving a much higher % of WAC-01's than ever before.
b) 10/19 is around where the anthrax gap started. (logical gap).
c) Folks like tt tt, (WAC-02-035) are reporting cases recently assigned ~ next JIT move should put us in Nov.
d) Folks like all wac-01 people are reporting case assigned .. lot of them .. which means .. finally .. all wac-01's should be assigned by now and INS isn't shy enough to admit it (unlike before).

Too many pointers suggesting that 11/19 was a typo .. real JIT = 10/19.

Cheers, and good luck for the start of yet another INS week, hope this brings joy to all of us.

Looking @ historical trend versus INS approval rate .. 10/19 makes perfect sense.
