There have been a lot of people posting recently about being stuck in a pending FBI background investigation even after passing the interview. In our case, we were congratulated and recommended for approval after the interview, but when I called to find out about my oath last week, I was told that my & my wife's background investigations are still pending!
So, please join this thread and post your details (timeline and DO) if you are in a similar situation. It would help all of us understand whether the govt. is following it's own rules (since May 2006, NO interviews w/out completeted FBI security check)
