FBI security check: Please put all your queries in this thread

Hello All,

I tried to follow this forum for FBI security check, but could not understand the process :confused: .
After fingerprinting is done, when and how do we know, that name check or security check is pending with the FBI?
Does our Lawyer know about this step?
Because I called up the company lawyer but she feigned ignorance about this step.
Your help is appreciated.
