Following some of forum users suggestion, I faxed a letter to FBI to name check / fingerprint approval status and the following is the email I got today


This is in reference to your facsimile received on September 21, 2004, concerning your immigration status. The FBI completed a record check for you on December 27, 2002, and the results were forwarded to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Washington, DC.

I don't understand, I did my 2nd fp in August 2004....

FBI finished their Name check in december 2002. FBI name check and FP name check are different.

Call and findout about your FP2 name check now. generally that will be cleared on sameday.

Is it true that everytime you go out of country while AOS is pending, FBI and IBIS starts a fresh new name check ?

Ok called and they said they did on the same day which sep 8th, so what next I should do?

have a patience and wait for final approval . Thats what we have to do now.
