Hello everybody,

 Could anyone tell me , how to find out status of my FP, for the following details.

 FP date: 12/12/00

 Center : VSC

 FP center: El Monte, California.

I just checked status of my FP, with FBI. Be ready with Alien Number A#. You can find A# in your FP notice.

Step 1).Call FBI Number 304-625-5590 Select option 4
Step 2).Tell FBI representative that you gave finger prints at x location and make sure that they were OK.
Step 3).FBI representative will ask your A# ( they will ask you are they any more A# of your family ... )
Step 4).FBI representative will tell your FP status.

In my case FBI representative told "We have received you and your wife finger prints on December 28th 2000. Both you and your wife finger prints are OK and we forwarded same to INS Vermont the same day".

Superbabu, I am also in the same boat.
I gave my 2 nd fp today at Oakland, CA.
My 485 center is VSC.
I will have to call them tomorrow to check the status.
