FBI phone no. for fingerprints?

I have tried to serach this forum for the phone no. to contact FBI about the name check but I have only found questions from others reagarding this issue.

Could anyone be kind enough to let me know the phone no./procedure for inquiring the FBI about the fingerprints?

I will really appreciate your input.

I heard that nowadays we no longer can dial in a certain number to get the status on finger prints and name check. There was a time when people use to call in and get information regarding their specific case but not anymore. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

FBI Name Check Status (Main Line) (202) 324-3625


Now days they just telll you status of fingerprint not name check.But try your luck.. :)
 
Wow! I called the FingerPrint office and they helped me out. Looks like they received the prints and sent them back to USCIS the same day.. That was music to my ears..

The second number listed here , on the other hand , is someone's office secretary.
