After studying many cases, I found that it looks generally the NC for EB1 is faster than EB2. It that true? Does CIS intiate the NC for EB1 with higher priority than EB2? Or FBI has different procedures for different categoeries?

Thanks,

I don't think the FBI makes any distinction between EB1 and EB2. However, USCIS might adjudicate EB1 cases at a different pace if they choose to.

I have also made a casual observation of relatively quicker processing for EB1. However, I don't know if I observed skewed data or if it's a trend.

Hi,

I am in the so called "EB1" category; however, my name check has been stuck for more than 2 years! My details are in the signature file.

I don't think there is any set pattern - it is pretty random.
