fbi name check

I had my fingerprint on oct,3. And just called fbi the lady told me it take 5 weeks for the name to come on the system.
Is that true. I hear is on take 48 hours for fbi to check the name.

The FBI name checks generally take about two weeks. It may take longer if the volume of pending applications is higher. It cannot be done within 48 hours.
