FBI Name check response, Gurus Help

I received the following reply from the FBI name check program:

"Dear Mr. XXXXXXX XXXX XXXXX:
I am responding to your email dated October 6, 2004, concerning your name check status.

A review of the FBI’s Name Check Program database concerning Mr. XXXXX revealed that a request from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services was received on March 8, 2004, and it is currently pending. You may be assured that the immigration authorities will be notified at the earliest possible date upon completion of his case.

I am sorry we are unable to be of more assistance at this time.

WHAT SHOULD I DO? Should I just wait and pray for MR. FBI officer to finish checking on my name even after more than 8 months has passed. Or, is there any thing that I can do to expedite the process? I have seen some people suing the FBI to move their case forward? Any thoughts? Please GUYS Help!

FP September, 11, 04
AP never been approved (I know now WHY)
 
tough call this.. Suing FBI is not the way to go. This is just my opinion. You can wait for some time and let the I140 processing date pass yours and contact cogressman/senator in your area.
 
FBI name check pending

I know, I said that in a moment of anger.

But my problem is not with the INS, it is with the FBI. They are the one who is holding my processing; even they caused my AP not to be processed. I submitted my AP and my wife at the same time back in Feb. My wife got approval just after few weeks and I have not.

So should I contact Senator/congressman to help me with the FBI?
