I just recieved the responce to my email to FBI.
It looks like they are taking 3.5 months just to respond.
Being from a SR country and having a ver common last name i was expecting a delay but more than 16 months and still pending ?
Here is the responce i recieved .
"
I am responding to your email dated October 28, 2004, concerning your
name check status for immigration purposes.
A review of the FBI's National Name Check Program database revealed
that a request from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
for you was received on October 2, 2003, and it is currently in a
pending status. You may be assured that the immigration authorities will be
notified at the earliest possible date upon completion of your case.
I am sorry we are unable to be of more assistance at this time.
