Well I was looking at people's problem with name checks, well I can tell you one thing, atleast to get your email answered ASAP about ur name check status, just send a recognized domain name email address(e.g @microsoft.com), I did send 3 request an year ago(using @yahoo.com), they replied after 6 months, However My wife works in a Multi-national comany, and she wrote them email from her work's email, FBI returned it within 48 hours, I told that a buddy of mine, same result with him as well.
Well its my opinion that somehow they attend inquiries with recognized domain name quickly than to generic's like yahoo or hotmail
PS they are softwares avaialble which can recongnize teh domains and re direct them to particular person, I am sure NNCP people are using them
