FBI name check for K-3

Hello All,

I would be appreciate for any advice about my case.
We applied for the K-1 visa in Sep. 2002. Our case was approved by NSC and NVC and got to the consulate in Moscow.
But instead of giving us the interview date, they said it is required "Additional administrative processing" in June of 2003 and didn't say anything about the problem.
It was about 6 months since and we didn't get any date and any reply from the consulate.
Last time we didn't know about this site, and didn't know how to figure out what was going on.

So we decided not to wait and got married in Russia. We denied our K-1 and reapplied for I-130 and k-3 (I-129f).
And now our k-3 was processed and sent to the consulate.
I afraid, that they might request for the same name check again, besides I took my husband's last name.

I have a few questions.

I always thought that NVC does some background and name check, if there is any "hits" on your name, they sent it to FBI.
But it is strange that the consulate can ask for your name check again, even through it was done by NVC.

Is there any ways to find out for us about the last name check result that was done for our K-1?
Does NVC or FBI still keep it in their database? Is it still valued for the K-3? And if it can help for the next name check?

Thanks to all of you in advance.
