I am also a long waiter. My congressman told me they received the TSC response of: "Application pending. Finger prints taken last year, but FBI name check has not cleared"

Does anyone know what this means? Anyone has the FBI phone# for me to check?

I sent two fax and got a reply by phone and emails in a week.

Give them information on your case and a number they can reach you.
 
Why FBI does not reply

Hi, Guys,

I have contacted FBI by the FAX, Email for the name check several times for four weeks but FBI never replys. Tried to call at 202-324-2399 and FBI does not answer phone any more. Does anybody knows what has happened for its name check program? Namu said he got a reply in a week. Why different?
 
No more faxing required

The lady at the FBI help desk (while calling to find out FP status)
told me that the email is the ONLY way to contact the FBI on name checks. She said the faxes are no longer valid.
