writing letter does works sometime.....i worte an email to FBI about Name Check in september 2004 got reply in feb 2005...

Yea, I got a letter saying that name check is still in process.
But, is this information useful?

I just wrote letters to the addresses mentioned above. I don't know if it works, but definitely worth a try... Who knows what will work.

I agree with you. We should certainly try this. It clicks for some and doesn't for some others. Who knows....

FBI Name Check Status (Main Line) (202) 324-3625 is incorrect. I called them
and they said this is no longer the correct number for it and they have no information on alternate number for Namecheck
