How true is this, I heard it somewhere:
<< USCIS won't approve the RTD, If there is a pending FBI Security Check (name check) on a I-485 pending application>>

that cannot be true

I got my rtd in October 2007. I applied for it April 30, 2007. I have an I-485 pending since October 2005 and my name check has been pending since then. I talked to an immigration information officer two days ago and she said my name check has been pending over two years. I still got my rtd. But my green card will never come I think because I am stuck in this hell called name check forever.:mad:

You will sure be approved one day, it is just hard to estimate a date of approval, especially with such of a disfuctional FBI/DHS/USCIS
