If you meant time taken to run your finger prints check and you had given electronic finger printing, it should take max 2-3 days. If it is manual finger printing, it takes min 2 weeks.
 
small correction..

we did a manual FP on 9/17/2003 at the ASC in Van Nuys, CA.

The FBI received it on 9/20/2003 and sent it back the same day to BCIS, after review.

So, from my personal experience, even with manual FP (ink) the results could get to FBI with in 2-3 days.
 
FP returns the results mostly the same day...and max in a week...!
It's the BCIS which takes it time after FP Check, for its own name check, security check etc..
