I filed my I-485 on 5/1/06 at Vermont and finished finger print on 6/15/06. I received the personal interview from Los Angeles USCIS office and told to appear on 10/16/06 and finished the interview on that date. The USCIS officer told me that my FP was pending and he will grand GC once they receive clearance.
I called the FBI and they told that my finger print was received on 6/16/06 and they sent their feedback to INS on that day itself. Now I am wondering my case may stuck by name check. I am thinking to approach congressman or senater regarding the status of my name check. What is the procedure to approach the congressman or senater? How to write a letter Congressman/senater? Please provide if there is any letter format available for this?
