Fax Inquiry Question

My ND for I-140 is 7/23/03. The JIT date moved to 7/23/03 on 7/15/04. When exactly can I launch fax inquiry?

a. When the JIT date reaches 8/23/03 or beyond (God knows when)

OR

b. On 8/15/04 - one month from the day JIT date was published to be 7/23/03?

I-140 is employer petition, either your lawyer or employer can make inquiry. USCIS will pay no attention if you send the inquiry.

If you can convince your lawyer, no harm sending inquiry...

INS would insist that the date should be 8/23/03 before opening a case status enquiry in ur case

Ok. A follow up question. Since the case says that it is taking between 360 days and 360 days blah blah, and since the case is pending over that period, does that become ground for fax inquiry?
