Hello All,
My sister(US citizen) has filed for both my parents in india at the same time. APR-06-2006
My mother's I130 is approved in 2 months & her case is already transfered to Mumbai consulate.
But My father's I130 is not approved yet. Because my mother has 2 names and my sister forgot to attach necessary docs for that, They asked for evidence to prove that my father has married only once and she is same person with 2 names.
We submitted documents in Aug and the Last Status they show on CASE Status online is they received required documents and they will start processing the case. But even today we haven't got approval of I130.
Inquiry calls are not helping because they keep saying that once he gets approved we can help you.
IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS GONE THROUGH THIS?
Its very disheartening
Can somebody help me out here?
Should i hire a lawyer or not? Or
should i wait until Vermont NVC priority dates chages from March-12-2006 to April-something-2006??
