pls confirm if they accept the hand delivery of faxed documents
that way u can fax from here to someone u know in Bombay and they can in turn hand deliver or send by overnight courier...
My attorney confirmed that faxed forms are accepted in US embassy in Delhi..
Hand delivery (by somebody going to India) is the fastest. I am not so sure about faxing it though. The consulate will accept faxed copies as long as you submit the originals. Especially if you fax it to somebody other than consulate in India. But I am not quite sure about this. You can definitely try it out.
I have sent several stuff to india by Fedex. It costs $41.80
and is worth every penny. Best of all you can track it
the whole way. Dont take chances with cheaper services.
I have not used UPS so I have no comments.
