Fast Labor Approved

My labor(PERM) was approved on 7/13/2006. Its approved at amazing speed. They filed it on 6/30/2006 EB3. Is this comman with PERM labors?
Any trends? How about I140 timelines?

Trend is normal

The trend is normal. If there is no evident discrepancies in the application, the PERM and I-140 approvals have been rapid.

My EB3 PERM got approved in 5 business days and I-140 got approved in 11 business days. This was during the period of Aug 2005 to October 2005. I-140 approvals may have become slower these days, becuase of the bi-specialization transition.

To my understanding, the USCIS is serious about below 6 month processing time for GC process, provided the visa numbers are available.
