Fast Approval Theories.

hi, I Have Patience

You have Patience, why you need to know fast approvals...

just kidding....

My theory, goes like this...

LUCK!!! LUCK!!! LUCK!!!

Nothing else

You can only get an RFE if they start working on your case. The important fact here is that they started on the case, not generating the RFE.

Normally, CIS looks in your file twice, once when they receive it to validate the entries, fee etc. Second, when it is being processed. Opening a file just to check for RFE is not only a waste of time, its ridiculous.

The RFE theory has no basis.

Priority Date? State?

Theory: Priority Date

Question:Has anybody tried to track priority dates for early approvals?

Why: Because immigrant visa numbers are issued by prioirty date so this must be coming in to play somehow...

Theory: State

Question: Has annybody tried to track state for early approvals.

Why: Who knows, maybe VSC has dedicated resources by state.

The NOT Theory: Luck

Ok, I wouldn't put anything past VSC, but when was the last time any of you coded a procedure to pull records in a random way?

JustWatching,

Your analysis sounds logical. I belv PD has something to do with approvals. If you see in trackers - couple of people get 140 done in 4-5 months and rest get it in around a year or so. People from states like NJ get it done little faster. Maybe we should add two column - one for state and other for Priority date - it should help. Any takers?

I actually suggested adding those two columns a while ago but had no takers.

I didn't keep pushing becase...well...I'm still waiting for my LC from NY.

The other thing I would suggest would be to consolidate all the trackers into one vs. having one for every three months. This would give a better picture of why things are happening.

BTW, the note about NJ being faster sort of backs my theory. NJ has been one of the states far behind in LC, so the people you are seeing apply 4-5 months ago have priorities dates of first half of 2001.

i concur with jharkandi and justwatching thoughts
its logical to think like that way
we can ask them to add priority date and state columns

yes, if we have one whole excel sheet for the full year it will be good so that everyone can come and look into that thread and get info instead of going to each and every thread
