Hi,
My mother is a US citizen but has no income. Can she file for me (married son) on H1 status in the US. My employer has already filed the labor certification and it will take at least a year to clear. I guess my question is does the petitioner need to have income and can two applications for green card one by the family and one by the employer exist at the same time.
